Steve Lange Construction is a family-owned company. It was founded by Steve’s father as Eric Lange Construction in 1955, and Steve has continued his father’s legacy of providing customers with the finest quality materials and craftsmanship together with exceptional customer service.

As a finish carpenter by trade, Steve will be on site during construction, direct all sub-trades, and ensure your complete satisfaction. He works closely with you to understand your ideas, communicates clearly throughout, and manages your project personally — always accessible. Historic Home Restorations
Eric Lange began building houses in the 1950s while renovating much older ones, passing his expert knowledge of older construction techniques to his sons. Steve has added to that repertoire working on historic homes in Calgary, Toronto, and Boston.
We carefully assess your home, research the style of its period, and develop a detailed restoration plan — protecting the existing structure and finishes while updating plumbing, heating and electrical, then repairing and restoring the masonry, woodworking and finishes to their original beauty. Where necessary we recreate the original in every detail.
Steve does the woodworking, refinishing and colour matching himself, to his exacting standards — adding safety, efficiency and convenience while protecting your home’s special features for years to come.
